Reveries of Endlessness
April 08 - April 30, 2005
- Per Christian Brown (NO)

0047 is proud to present the exhibition Reveries of Endlessness by Per Christian Brown.
Brown works mainly with photography and is known for his staged photos with a mysterious, seductive atmosphere, balancing on the border between documentary and fiction. This exhibition presents new photos as well as a new video work, where the dichotomy of baroque painting is the source of inspiration. In the triptych Snow and Fire, Brown creates theatrical effects between the elements of darkness and light, passion and pain, dream and reality.
Per Christian Brown, born 1976 in Stavanger, Norway, lives and works in Berlin.
A graduate of The National Academy of Fine Art in Oslo, his works have been
exhibited at several national and international shows. He is represented in
the art collections of e.g. The Norwegian Board of Culture, Statoil and Gasco.
This is his first show in Germany.
The exhibition is part of the biannual art event in Berlin; Kunst Mitte Nord
Open Weekend.
